From <\/span>April 1, 2025<\/b> the <\/span>digital catalogue raisonn\u00e9 of Ando Gilardi<\/b> is officially online, one of the most significant projects for the promotion of Italian photographic heritage.<\/span><\/p>\n

Curated by <\/span>Fototeca Gilardi<\/b> with the creative direction of <\/span>Nicola Nunziata<\/b>, the project was funded by the <\/span>European Union \u2013 NextGenerationEU<\/b> and managed by the <\/span>Italian Ministry of Culture<\/b>.<\/span>
\n<\/span>It is freely accessible through a public web platform at:<\/span> www.andogilardi.it<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

We are proud to have contributed to several aspects of the project: MomaPIX was used both as a <\/span>DAM (Digital Asset Management)<\/b> system and as the foundation for the development of the editorial platform. A project that combined archival care, visual design, and digital accessibility, placing the user at the center. A true online cultural project was brought to life.<\/span><\/p>\n

Due to the richness of the catalogue, users are encouraged to browse it from desktop, with mobile access limited to registration only.<\/span><\/p>\n

A far-reaching digital project<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

The digital catalogue is not just an organized collection of materials, but a true tool for study and research, dedicated to students, professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts of photography, visual communication, and image history.<\/span>
\n<\/span>At the heart is the work and thought of <\/span>Ando Gilardi<\/b>, a key figure in mid-to-late 20th century photography: partisan, critic, publisher, historian, and tireless experimenter.<\/span><\/p>\n

The platform allows intuitive exploration of both textual and visual materials, featuring <\/span>curated thematic paths<\/b>, <\/span>detailed records rich in metadata<\/b>, and an interface designed to ensure the best user experience.<\/span><\/p>\n
